These are working terms for the site and require attorney review before they are relied on as a complete legal agreement.

Using the service

By using HomeTour IRL, you agree to follow these terms and applicable law. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. ChatGPT sign-in authenticates an account for site features; it does not verify a person’s identity, business ownership, license, or qualifications.

Provider accounts and profiles

Businesses create a HomeTour IRL account with an email and password. Keep your password and recovery code private. Account registration does not verify identity, email ownership, licensing, or qualifications. Provider profiles are linked to the account that submits or claims them. Existing profiles can be claimed with the profile’s private access code after signing in to the business account. Keep that code private. The site may review, approve, reject, hide, or remove profiles and uploaded material. A profile’s approval is not certification or an endorsement.

Content you submit

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of listings, profile details, application and quote links, photos, videos, comments, messages, and other content you submit. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to upload it and that it does not violate privacy, copyright, fair-housing, consumer-protection, or other laws. Do not submit another person’s private information, completed applications, financial details, threats, spam, or misleading claims.

You give HomeTour IRL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate, promote, moderate, and improve the service. You keep ownership of your content. You can update profile content you control; removing content may not immediately remove backups or records kept for safety and legal reasons.

Public content and private messages

Approved profiles, provider contact information marked public, uploaded media, comments, and reactions may be viewed by anyone. Private message threads are visible to the participants and authorized administrators for safety and support. Do not treat site messaging as an emergency service or send sensitive identity, financial, or application documents.

Reports and moderation

Visitors may report comments. HomeTour IRL may temporarily hide heavily reported comments and may review, restrict, or remove content or accounts. Moderation is discretionary and not guaranteed to happen before content is seen. Users remain responsible for their own interactions.

Deals and professional services

HomeTour IRL helps people discover properties and providers; it is not a real estate broker, lender, insurer, property manager, contractor, or party to transactions unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise. Verify listings, availability, licenses, insurance, pricing, applications, and contract terms directly. Users and providers are responsible for tours, quotes, applications, payments, services, and contracts between them.

Fees and paid placements

Any paid plan, subscription, renewal, cancellation, or refund terms will be shown at the relevant checkout or purchase flow. Those terms apply to the specific purchase. A free profile does not promise visibility, leads, or business results.

Availability, termination, and liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. HomeTour IRL does not promise uninterrupted access, accurate third-party content, or error-free operation. We may suspend access or remove content for safety, legal, or operational reasons. To the extent permitted by law, HomeTour IRL disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses connected to use of the site or third-party dealings. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy and updates

Our Privacy Policy describes information processed by the service. These terms may be updated as the service changes. The current version will be posted here. Contact HomeTour IRL through the privacy request form for account or privacy concerns.
